Senior Account Executive, Sales

- Assist in developing and executing a sales plan  Â
- Identify potential sponsors for LSU Sports Properties through networking with LSU stakeholders and business partners, researching local, regional and national companies Â
- Work with Playfly Sports Properties and LSU Sports Properties Director of Partnerships & Business Strategy to create sales inventory, revenue projections and overall sponsorship strategy for LSU athletics assets Â
- Develop sales presentations for new marketing partners by incorporating research, category dynamics and a clear understanding of partnerâs marketing goals Â
- Create sales proposals and draft/negotiate contracts   Â
- Develop key marketing objectives with clients via thorough needs assessment and a collaborative sales process Â
- Entertain and cultivate sponsors in non-game related settings Â
- Prepare end-of-year recaps for sponsors Â
- Represent LSU Sports Properties, Louisiana State University, and Playfly Sports Properties in a professional manner Â
- Research sports sponsorship industry and stay current with relevant market trends and conditions Â
- Understand and leverage Playfly business units in order to leverage new business areas, leads, and categories Â
- Prospect, meet, and close new and renewal corporate sponsorships Â
- Other job-related duties as assignedÂ
- Bachelorâs degree required Â
- 3-5 years of direct sales experience in the sports multi-media environment required Â
- Experience with integrated and âconceptualâ sales Â
- Ability to generate and present ideas/concepts succinctly and provide creative solutions to prospects/clients Â
- Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives Â
- Demonstrated professional sales presentation skillsÂ
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Â
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk-up stairs Â
- This role takes place in an office setting and is a sedentary role  Â
- Be available for game days and evening athletic events and coaches shows Â
- Be available to travel for client presentationsÂ
