Revenue Cycle Specialist I

The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for managing the entire revenue cycle process to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition for the company. This role involves invoicing, AR follow up and working closely with various departments to streamline revenue operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in billing or AR, exceptional analytical skills, and experience in revenue cycle management. Skills and Responsibilities:
- Perform the end-to-end revenue cycle for an assigned group of clients, from invoicing to cash application.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, collections, and reporting.
- Generate reports and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve revenue recognition by analyzing project data.
- Work closely with internal departments, external partners and clients to resolve billing issues and improve the customer experience.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth revenue operations.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and disputes related to billing and payments.
- Provide excellent customer service to maintain strong client relationships.
- Facilitate and attend conference calls and meetings with internal and external partners, including clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, billing, or related financial roles.
- Experience with ERP systems and billing software (Sage Intaact preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact directly with clients via phone and email.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (and Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Awareness of SalesForce is a plus.
