We are seeking a skilled PM Planner to join our team. *Pay includes: Total = Base pay + annual performance bonus + profit sharing

Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Location Honolulu, Oahu Pay $75,000 to $170,000 a year Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients and other parties involved to determine project specifications and needs.
  • Monitor project financial status using construction budget and implement cost-cutting measures.
  • Supervise and direct the work of Project Coordinators, Planners, and Clerical staff.
  • Identify and contact new prospects, participate in marketing and interview processes.
  • Collaborate with clients, agencies, subconsultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Review work product to ensure technical quality and client satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and guide staff career advancement.
  • Educate less experienced staff on project tasks and best practices.
  • Plan and organize to maintain productivity and profitability.
  • Prepare environmental impact analyses and conduct field reconnaissance of project sites.
  • Analyze and interpret environmental assessments in compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and process land use permit applications and filing with governmental agencies.
  • Develop land use master plan materials and participate/lead in project team meetings.
  • Determine regulatory requirements for projects and interpret applicable codes and ordinances.
  • Lead community, client, government, and project team presentations.
  • Review development applications and propose strategies for economic and community development.
  • Prepare detailed reports on development proposals for government bodies.
  • Create graphic designs, development strategies, and render site plans.
  • Plan, direct, or supervise planning projects of smaller scope or size.
  • Prepare Scope of Work and Fee Proposals as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience (10-15 years) with land use permit applications and processes.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying regulations and codes.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and computer graphics.
  • Knowledge of environmental impact assessments and NEPA requirements.
