About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning team, you'll be responsible for planning and directing medium- to large-size planning and environmental compliance projects. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions that meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct complex environmental planning projects, including permit applications and NEPA/HEPA documents
  • Perform independent decision-making on problems and methods, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Prepare and analyze technical studies, reports, and documents, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Direct the work of others to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our services and deliverables
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving, and research abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and open communication
