Job Overview:

The Project Planner drives the creative production process for various projects supporting unique merchandise initiatives and campaigns. Working closely alongside the creative pyramid, the Project Planner ensures the creation of Bloomingdale's marketing assets and any supporting marketing content through timeline management and effective communication. The Project Planner ensures that merchandise/offers are communicated in an effective manner and maintains a fluid process with cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Functions:
Serves as liaison and works closely with creative, marketing, merchandising, and production groups in the planning, execution, and on-time delivery of essential digital or print assets Fields all requests for projects and briefs-reviews for feasibility and accuracy Sets-up and leads kick-offs, follow-ups, turn-ins and all related project-specific meetings. Maintains daily production schedule for marketing assets
Qualifications and Competencies:
We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply 3-5 years related experience Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Ability to evaluate, address, and escalate challenges or risks as needed during the project lifecycle Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
Physical Requirements:
Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking Continuous use of computers and other office equipment Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
