    About Our Client

    My client is a mid-sized General Contractor located North of Boston, with their headquarters in Burlington, MA. They have a local Massachusetts office with a range of projects across the Greater Boston area, Metrowest, and North shore. Founded in 1977, they have become experts in the Multifamily, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, and Commercial industries, with projects ranging from $20M - $40M. They have consistently produced an annual revenue of $250M++ per year and have a strong pipeline of projects throughout the upcoming year. The team, consisting of 95+ highly skilled employees, is dedicated to executing top-notch output.

    Job Description

    The Senior Project Manager, Construction, is responsible for the following:

  • Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
Oversee and provide guidance on projects to junior Project Managers and staff.Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities related to construction projects.Lead and/or assist with estimating potential projectsEstablish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.Communicate with Superintendents to ensure job schedule and project is on trackMonitor and control projects through administrative directionRepresent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the customer.

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Project Manager Candidate will possess the following skills

At least 10 years of experience in the construction industryMonitor and control projects through administrative directionEstablished relations with subcontractorsExperience in projects up to $25M preferredExperience in both renovation and ground up buildingVariety of project experience preferredBA in construction related fieldStrong communication skills and organizational skills
