Job Purpose

The Production Equipment Coordinator will lead the production equipment group by managing daily operations, managing the  team's technical training, assessment and development, managing New Model equipment programming activities, and leading equipment design and install activities to ensure spec and design requirements are achieved.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead project (planning, budget, reporting and management) and create plans for achievement. Present overall results to Plant/ Department Leadership.
  • Lead production equipment team by providing mentorship and guidance on technical robot and programming related issues. Lead analysis on complex issues.
  • Conduct design analysis, development and maturation.  Lead trial testing with data collection activities. Review supplier designs, specifications and manufacturing process to ensure the products meet company requirements.
  • Lead new model projects to ensures successful implementation of all new model programming activities and new model trials. Create procedures for testing and recoveries for operator development and training. Develop system to confirm parts are meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Team activities to promote change by engaging associates in creating and implementing characteristic improvements.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2+ years of engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, project management process, FTA, CAD software, AUTOCAD and drawing software, robotic software, regulatory requirements. Problem solving skills, people management, effective written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.  Ability to lead others, self-driven, read and understand mechanical prints, supplier designs and specifications.
