What You'll Do:

The Senior Manager of Global IT Operations is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the company's global data centers and cloud environments. This role involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure. The Senior Manager will work closely with IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and maintain a cloud strategy, disaster recovery plan, ransomware recovery strategy, IT business continuity plan, and financial cost management of the cloud and data center equipment.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Develop and maintain a cloud strategy, disaster recovery plan, ransomware recovery strategy, and IT business continuity plan.
  • Conduct risk assessments specific to IT systems and infrastructure to identify critical processes and systems.
  • Implement and manage Operations metrics and monitoring to ensure efficient and reliable operations of the companies IT systems.
  • Work closely with the IT Security team to ensure the implementation of best practices to secure the companies IT systems and perform regular upgrades and patching of all systems.
  • Design and implement IT-specific strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the organization's IT systems and infrastructure can recover from disruptions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement and test IT backup and recovery solutions.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular IT training exercises and simulations to validate the effectiveness of the IT plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the organization's IT disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to IT disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Work closely with IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of IT disaster recovery plans with overall business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support during IT incidents or disasters to ensure effective IT response and recovery.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Prefer relevant certifications in IT disaster recovery and business continuity (e.g., Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS), Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE))
  • Prefer 8 years of experience in IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning, implementation, and management specifically for data center, edge based, and cloud-based systems.
  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating IT projects, including disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Experience in managing data center budgets
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards related to data center and cloud-based disaster recovery and business continuity, including considerations specific to SaaS solutions.
