Your Role This position is responsible for the management of operational supervisors to ensure the maintenance and consistency of dispatch operations while providing support in the form of trainings, guidance, development, and implementation of best practices within their team. The manager will also be responsible for the assessment and review of supervisor performance. Your Responsibilities
  • You will oversee operational supervisors and ensure all KPIs are adhered to on a daily basis
  • Ensure supervisors have all resources and trainings needed to complete their daily
    responsibilities
  • You will hold weekly huddles with supervisors to address challenges and provide solutions ⢠Fostering growth and team development within your team⢠Collaborate with supervisors to verify work instructions and customer SOPs are kept updated
    as changes occur and in accordance with company guidelines
  • Serve as an intermediary between supervisors and directors
  • You will build strategic relationships with trucking partners, vendors, customers, Customer Care Locations, and Operational Care Centers
  • Work closely with trade, pricing, and procurement teams on securing best cost/service needs⢠Ensure half and full year employee reviews are completed
  • Serve as secondary escalation for internal or external disputes
  • Semi-quarterly travel to respective Customer Care Location and trucking partner locations
  • Guarantee trucking partner statements are up to date and fully resolved for the current
    month
  • Monitor daily FSL and verify unacknowledged invoice reports
  • Assure you are compliant with K+N Behaviors, rules, and regulations
Your Skills and Experiences
  • 2+ years' Sea Logistics 
  • 4 years' Leadership experience managing large teams
  • 8 years' Industry experience
  • High knowledge of Logistics, Operations and Import/Export regulations
  • Knowledge of KN Operations, products, services & processes
  • Project Management
  • Analytical & critical thinking skills
