JOB SUMMARY:

The cage payment clerk is responsible for protecting company assets, adhering to company and departmental policies/procedures to include gaming regulations. Adhere to and practice customer service standards. Accurately handles and assists customers in establishing credit lines, communicate with appropriate personnel concerning customer credit information. Cooperates with team members within the department, as well as with other departments. Must be able to execute all cage payment clerk functions to include but not limited to:

  • Process mail in payments
  • Process Branch office transmittals
  • Process incoming/outgoing Wire Transfers
  • AML/Title 31
  • Process Marker Deposits
  • Answer telephones
  • Process foreign collection items
  • Issue Total Rewards cards
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail
  • Casino Credit Applications
  • Issue CR Visa Cards
  • Assist Hosts
  • Data entry for CMS, Excel, Word and other Cage related systems
  • Cage supplies are replenished
  • Copies and files appropriate documents
  • Communicate with Casino Executives
  • Process Cross Property Charges
  • Enters/removes credit/TTO
  • Obtains and retains Credit authorizer signatures
  • Assist Cage personnel
  • Assists with specific assigned projects


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure excellent guest service.
  • Be appropriately groomed and wear uniform according to departmental standards
  • Always present oneself as a credit to the department
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to the departmental and company guidelines.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Provide assistance to other departments.
  • Must be able to stand for long extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to push/pull heavy carts on the casino floor.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at assigned area.
  • Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment to include but not limited to: 10 key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine, photocopy machine.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to work in moderate to loud noise conditions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent with computer experience necessary for data entry. Organizational abilities necessary for completion of tasks in timely manner. Excellent customer service skills essential in dealing with personnel and customer base. Emphasis on well-groomed appearance to ensure and promote positive image.
