- Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8-5
- Location: Santa Fe
JOB DUTIES:
- Coordinate the logistics (location, space, materials, training, facilitators, etc.) for six (6) bi-monthly meetings of the Advisory Council on Quality (ACQ). All meetings are in Albuquerque or Santa Fe or online (e.g. Zoom).
- Coordinate the logistics for six ACQ listening sessions. All ACQ listening sessions are in Albuquerque or Santa Fe or on-line (e.g. Zoom).
- Meet with the ACQ Executive Committee prior to each ACQ meeting to develop agenda, discuss membership and other relevant issues.
- Meet with the ACQ Executive Committee following each ACQ meeting and listening session.
- Publish and distribute announcements in accordance with the New Mexico Open
- Meetings Act and the ACQ By-Laws.
- Coordinate with presenters, including Advocates and Self-Advocates, other state agencies, and relevant stakeholders to present at meetings.
- Coordinate and distribute materials to be discussed at ACQ meetings.
- Facilitate relevant sections of the ACQ’s meetings.
- Take meeting notes and develop meeting summaries and distribute to ACQ members within 2 weeks in advance of the next meeting.
- Coordinate the process for nominating ACQ members and collaborate with the ACQ
- Executive Committee in making recommendations to the Governor’s Office regarding new ACQ members in accordance with ACQ by-laws.
- Coordinate orientation for new ACQ members, as needed.
- Compose and/or edit and distribute correspondence on behalf of the ACQ.
- Maintain a membership list of current ACQ members and work with the ACQ
- Executive Committee regarding membership issues.
- Coordinate with designated Health Care Authority staff to post ACQ materials such as meeting minutes, agenda, membership list, etc. to the Department’s website.
- Attend all meetings of the ACQ and attend relevant ACQ sub-committee meetings as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university plus 2 years of experience in training, adult education, and/or quality assurance or equivalent combination of education and or experience
- Written communication skills, ability to write reports and to make presentations
- Detail oriented, extensive documentation skills, organized and able to work in a multi-tasked environment
- Maintains punctuality for work, appointments and report dates
- Ability to self-start but also works well in a team setting
- Can collaborate effectively with others
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, and the use of email and other applications
- Possesses a valid driver's license, and is able to travel throughout the agency service areas
