How to Make the TeamWe are looking for a Finance Intern. Our Interns are motivated and enthusiastic.  In this role, you will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with various accounting and finance tasks including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and other projects for our management team. Your work will help prepare our records for monthly and annual financial statement reporting. As an Accounting Intern, you will also post journal entries to the general ledger, perform administrative duties, such as data entry and filing and do research if necessary.  You may work with multiple entities including New York Islanders, Bridgeport Islanders, Islanders Ice works, Islanders Childrenâs Foundation and Northwell Health Ice Center. No experience is necessary, but you must be proficient with basic computer programs and willing to learn. This internship will run from September-December 2024.

Where Youâll Go
  • The New York Islanders have offices in Floral Park, NY, as well as Manhattan. You will be in the office 2-3 days per week.
