Production Engineering Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In Albuquerque we manufacture underground cable connections and accessories for the electrical distribution grid as well as fault circuit indicators and current sensors. Our industry leading Elastimold and Fisher Pierce products are used to connect, ground, splice, terminate, and protect underground power cables. Products manufactured in Albuquerque are integral connective pieces of a resilient power grid. Set up and run all rubber mold presses Develop knowledge of best molding procedures for all parts Trains molding operators as required to ensure competence with quality issues Operate forklifts and overhead cranes Keep Tooling department informed on the removal or return of any tooling, molds, and fixtures Keeps records including but not limited to shift reports, changes to press set ups.

Qualifications for the role
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
