Norfolk, United States Commander, Navy Installations Full time

Duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinates and collaborates with CNIC HQ, regional N Codes, federal, state, public/private organizations and installations to plan, facilitate, and execute WFL programming.
Provides input and justification in support of regional FFSP WFL budget development; identify through data collection and consultation with FFSC Site Directors and the RWFLC, program resource requirements and recommended allocation of resources for regional education and training, may assist with long range financial planning.
Analyzes and manages transition services (e.g., SkillBridge programs, employment assistance services, education opportunities, Veterans' benefits, relocation, family employment, volunteer assistance) that benefit eligible active duty service members and their family members to enhance personal readiness and speedy attainment of career milestones, as well as successful entry/re-entry into the civilian workforce
Reviews direction from higher authorities to determine and plan for potential organizational impact, coordinate with RWFLC to develop standardized regional plans, policies and procedures, progress reports, directives and other assessments through use of own initiative in the execution of these duties.
Serves as the train-the-trainer for installation WFL programs and services including but not limited to TAP, FERP, Deployment and Mobilization Support, Individual Deployment Support, Ombudsman Program, Life Skills Education, Relocation Services, PFM, FER, and new programs as directed by CNIC and/or the region.
When installation supervisory or training staff are unable to complete staff training or deliver WFL programming this position may supplement local installation staff when operational needs require this level of support and requested by FFSCs.
Provides consultation and collaboration with, and technical assistance to, installation Site Directors and WFL staff to address installation WFL programs delivery; WFL education and training requirements; develop, maintain and continuously monitor standardized training curricula and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitors and periodically assesses program delivery via DOD and CNIC authorized data collection platforms (FFSMIS, NFAAS, DMDC, etc.). Collects technical data, create statistical reports, presentations and analyze trends utilizing qualitative and quantitative data. Briefs FFSP staff and senior leadership when required.
Plans and accomplishes FFSP special projects as assigned. Use standard approaches to perform a variety duties related to special projects involving administrative and logistical related duties.
Supports the marketing of FFSP WFL programs and services. Perform market research; assist with marketing plans; strategically manage marketing, support product development; promotion, distribution and customer service for Career/Retention, Deployment/Readiness WFL programs.
Participates in DOD, CNIC, regional or other working groups or focus groups as directed.
Establishes, develops, implements, monitors and coordinates WFL programs services and activities in accordance with CNIC Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) Certification Standards.
Participates in and support FFSP programs assessments (e.g. Command Inspection Program and CNIC FFSP Certification Program) and other similar WFL programs reviews.
Oversees and manages FFSP Family Emergency Response and NFAAS regional and/or installation emergency case management support services.
Supports FFSP emergency and mass care response services. Participates and supports CNIC, regional and installation emergency response and other exercises when directed.
Monitors, assists and provides program guidance to installation FFSC Site Directors on mass care exercise planning, execution, and emergency case management to ensure compliance with current DoD/Navy instructions and SOPs.
Initiates and maintains liaison with military, regional, installation and community emergency support organizations to analyze their procedures in order to develop internal complimentary emergency response plans.
Supports the Regional Operations Center (ROC) as a N9 Crisis Action Team (CAT) team member when directed.
Oversees and manages Individual Deployment Support Program to include Individual Augmentee (IA) regional/installation Navy Family Accounting & Assessment System (NFAAS) case management in accordance with applicable Navy guidance.
Prepares and conducts regional leadership exercise after action reports or briefings in order to communicate exercise recommendations or courses of action for actual situations.
Completes quality assurance audits for programs that provide non-clinical case management.
