We are currently seeking goal-oriented individuals to fill the position of Senior Process Engineer in our Etch Department. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment and be responsible for improving and enhancing etch processes. Key responsibilities include problem-solving, data analysis, preventive system setup, and routine production line sustaining. This role requires individuals to be available on-call and respond promptly to requests. Exceptional teamwork and communication skills are essential, as is a demonstrated commitment to our core values of Integrity, Customer Partnership, Innovation, and Commitment.

 

While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.

 

 Responsibilities include: 

  • Perform data analysis using SPC, Real-time monitoring methods, and additional sources to monitor and maintain the performance of the process.
  • Cross work with other function team for line problem solving, new technology transfer, and develop the solution for process performance improvement include the quality, productivity and cost reduction.
  • Need commit the flexible personal time, once, fab bussiness goal needed as abnormal event handling, meeting with TSMC in the asia time zone, and etc.

 

Requirements: 

  • All applicants must possess legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States, and the employer cannot provide sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
  • BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science.
  • At least 5+ years’ experience working in a high volume manufacturing semiconductor Fab.

  • AMAT, Lam, TEL and Kaijo etch tools experience preferred.

  • Understanding of principle of etch process knowledge, and it is a plus for equipment knowledge and/or integration knowledge.
  • Strong data analysis capability include commonality check and DOE.
  • Good communication skills both Oral and Written in English and Chinses.
  • Multi-tasking and project management skills to balance and follow-thru with many tasks at once meeting deadlines and executing plans.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Equipment and other function team  to achieve quality and capacity goals.

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement 
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $113,373 and $142,948 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience, and the position level.  TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. We also offer extensive development opportunities and programs.
