Description

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to provide leadership and direction by example and through firsthand demonstration of excellence in service standards. The ability to engage the community, drive revenue and profitability, control costs, and achieve operational and financial targets are essential to the success of this position. As Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of complex food and beverage outlets. Primary focus will be on guest and team member engagement, delivering memorable events, and exceeding guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Train, supervise, and mentor staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain consistent performance.

Monitor and manage inventory to minimize waste, control costs, and maintain adequate stock levels.

Create and maintain staff schedules, oversee employee time and attendance, and manage labor costs to meet budget targets.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and training to improve staff performance, productivity and accountability.

Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years in similar leadership role

Proven track record of successfully managing restaurant operations, achieving revenue targets, and controlling costs
