Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing instrument cleaning, sterilization and packaging; and the distribution and collection of dental procedural/surgical kits and instruments. The successful candidate will assuring patient safety and infection control while providing exceptional customer service.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Accuracy, attention to detail, hand and finger dexterity and motor skill, knowledge of sterilization and packaging processes and procedures, knowledge of safety hazards, maintaining records/logs and proper chain of command, teamwork, flexibility, positive attitude and behaviors, ability to work in a stressful environment.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience in sterile processing in a dental/medical setting preferred.
