This position will report to the Chief of the Financial Data and Programs Division (FDPD) in the Financial Management Office (FMO), Department of Administrative Services (DAS). The FMO is seeking a Supervisory Management Analyst to serve as the Chief of the Project Management Branch (PMB). The PMB is responsible for (a) providing cross-servicing project management; (b) developing and managing strategic roadmaps; (c) planning, managing, and supporting organizational projects; (d) and working closely with senior leadership, budget, business, information technology partners and other stakeholders; and other program management. The ideal candidate must possess considerable knowledge and experience in managing large business projects, preferably in financial management.

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
Leading and managing the day-to-day activities of PMB, including supervision of federal and contractual staff, and promoting a collaborative team approach.
Managing financial management related projects, focusing on the business perspective, and working in partnership with IT managers and stakeholders.
Coordinating the timing and availability of resources on multiple initiatives and priorities, including periodic financial system upgrades and enhancements, financial reporting and controls, projects related to enhancing electronic payments, centralized payment processing, and travel and vendor management.
Leading the development and maturation of a financial project management program within FMO (strategic and tactical), including the development and implementation of project management standards and best practices.
Leading cross-servicing project management support to operations, including project planning and scheduling, documenting requirements, establishing and achieving objectives and milestones, facilitating effective communications, identifying dependencies and resources, implementing and measuring quality control, and risk analysis.
Leading the application of multiple project management methodologies, including waterfall and agile, and incorporating and aligning with applicable continuous process improvement practices.
Leading the development, maintenance, and successful implementation of strategic roadmap in a collaborative manner.
Communicating and collaborating closely and consistently with senior leaders and managers, acquisitions, budget, business, and information technology stakeholders, as well as court unit and other partners to achieve project management goals and objectives.
Leading the timely development of all relevant project management artifacts and deliverables, including project charters, rough order of magnitudes, project schedules, budgets, and communications plans.
Engaging in a collaborative, communicative, and professional manner as part of a dynamic team focused on introducing and standing up a new project management program in FPO.
