The Headlines:    

In the role of Research and Development Pilot Technologist 2 working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be part of the Brewing Innovation and Quality Team.  You will support new product development and the technical exploration of new products, processes and/or ingredients.

 

This position reports to the Manager Pilot Breweryand works closely with Research and Development and Technical Brewing Teams. 

  

The Responsibilities:  

  • Process Development/Innovation- Safely operating and cleaning pilot equipment to execute trials, paving the way for exciting new process developments and innovations. 
  • Continuous Improvement – Support process review, expanding pilot capabilities with improvements in equipment, process, and automation.
  • Project Management - Ensure each project is executed with meticulous attention to detail, delivering nothing short of world-class results.
  • Research and Development – Collaborate with the MCBC R&D and technical brewing team(s) supporting business objectives and venturing into uncharted territories of beverage processing.
  • Team Powerhouse – Be an integral part of a diverse team of brewing professionals, collectively driving the success of the department, division, and the entire company.

  

The Other Qualifications:  

  

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Brewing or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience in brewing/beverage, quality, or packaging operations.
  • Understanding of quality control throughout brewing, liquid processing, and packaging.
  • Ability to understand, troubleshoot and correct process, control or maintenance issues.
  • You love a challenge, pushing yourself to learn quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.  
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome   
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
