Account Executive, Ticket Sales

The Lousiville Bats are actively seeking an Account Executive to join their highly dynamic Ticket Sales Team. We believe that Ticket Sales is a vital part of our teams' performance, and our Account Executives play a critical role in that success. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing within the sports industry and curious to learn the inner workings of our business at every level. The individual in this position is expected not only to be an exceptional salesperson but also to deliver outstanding customer service to all clients to ensure fan retention and to establish a positive experience with the brand.Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the communityÂ
- Generate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours, and attending networking/community eventsÂ
- Renew all group, hospitality, and season ticket membersÂ
- Work closely with sales and marketing departments to develop compelling sales programs and components focused on long-term business sustainabilityÂ
- Maintain a database of contacts and sales progression using TDC
- Meet and/or exceed personal sales goalsÂ
- Meet and/or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimumsÂ
- Contribute to overall operation by âanswering the callâ when assistance is needed in another area of our operationÂ
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceÂ
- Minimum of 6 months of sales or customer service experienceÂ
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, preferably within the sports industryÂ
- Have a friendly and professional telephone mannerÂ
- Strong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional careerÂ
- Ability to effectively express ideas verbally and in writingÂ
- Possess a positive attitudeÂ
- Maintain a flexible work scheduleÂ
- Other duties as assignedÂ
