Job Description

We are seeking multiple Civil Project/Design Engineers to join our dynamic team. You will enjoy a hybrid work schedule, contributing three days in-office and working remotely for two days each week. As a Civil Project Engineer, you will perform a variety of tasks including design, engineering calculations, and reports, conduct site visits, support permit applications, assist in construction, and evaluate land use and zoning requirements. Daily use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required for design work. You will lead or be a part of a team preparing project drawings, calculations, and specifications, and work closely with city officials, developers, architects, and contractors. Furthermore, you will assist in preparing proposals and fee estimates for potential projects and represent the firm at various networking events and community meetings. Our Detroit team focuses on mixed-use urban infill, sustainable design, and stormwater best management practices. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the advancement of the City of Detroit, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
