(Sign-on Bonus Eligible)

to join our Team We are a leading engineering firm known for quality and responsiveness and a proven track record of success as a Prime civil Engineering firm. As the Project Engineer with hands on Design experience, you will be responsible for growing and showcasing your talents in this highly visible position that will work closely with the Project Manager to develop design concepts that are incorporated into a final product; and support the relationship with the client. Work is conducted in a team environment and coordinated with other disciplines. In addition, you will conduct periodic visits to construction sites as projects require. Ingenuity Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist Project Manager with the preparation of complex design computations, plans, and related construction documents. Analyzes and interprets various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Prepares engineering and design documents using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment. Supports coordination of staff activities to ensure project budget, schedule, and quality goals are achieved. Assists in the review and preparation of engineering agreements for projects. Assists in handling contract administration with clients and sub-consultants. Monitors work-in-process and assists in directing and/or supervising the work of other engineers' activities on projects. Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents. Ensures that project documents and files are organized. Prepares and presents technical information to colleagues and clients. Assists Project, Design, and/or Office Managers as requested. To Be Successful

You are ready to provide leadership and collaboration and create a dynamic environment for your team To join IEI's team and take on this role, you will have the following qualifications: B.S. in Civil Engineering; and a ctive Professional Engineer (PE) License (Michigan) 3+ years as a Project Engineer 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably with a focus on airport or other infrastructure projects Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation Demonstrated leadership and reliability substantiated by a track record of successful project delivery MDOT experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Benefits and Perks
