Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking multiple Civil Engineers/Designers to join our team. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and/or Detroit Market Lead. With three local metro Detroit offices, you have the flexibility to work from the office closest to your residence. We offer a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). You will be performing design, engineering calculations, and reports, conducting site visits, supporting permit applications, providing construction assistance, and evaluating land use and zoning requirements. You will use AutoCAD daily for design work and will be taught Civil 3D if you do not have prior experience. Your work will primarily support private sector projects, with occasional involvement in city projects as needed. The focus will be on site/land development, including grading, drainage, sanitary/sewer, and utilities work.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).
Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Detroit, Michigan and some days remote.
Work Environment

Our Detroit office is a small, close-knit team of about 15 people, with plans to grow to 20 over the next two years. You may also work out of our Novi or Rochester Hills office if more convenient. The work schedule is 3 days in office, 2 days remote, with the expectation to be in the office the majority of the week during the first month for training. We foster a very collaborative and team-focused, fun work environment.
