Job Summaryï¼A claims intern will administer, review, and process claims including standard warranty, extended warranty, concessions, retrofit campaigns, startup, product returns, variation, and billing adjustments. This position will integrate with many different departments internal to Trane.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and process a high volume of claims per policies and procedures.
2. Assist offices, plants, and others with claim entry, approval, process, and policies.
3. Handle a high volume of written and verbal communications with field offices and manufacturing locations.
4. Maintain backlog goals.
5. Participate in team calls/meetings.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a full-time student pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree.
2. Must be detail-conscious, organized, responsible, and dependable.
3. Customer service experience preferred.
4. Must possess good communication skills and decision-making ability.
5. Ability to function independently as well as in a team environment.
6. Microsoft Office program experience required, including: Teams, Word, Outlook and Excel proficiency required.Key Competencies:
