What you will do:
- Assist in the implementation of company and business unit HR strategies, programs and processes (e.g. on-going salary administration and annual compensation cycle, benefit programs, performance management, new employee on-boarding and off-boarding activities for departing employees)
- Provide HR advisory support and problem-solving solutions to business leaders within the Corporate business functions
- Provide support and training to managers in the interpretation and use of HR policies, processes and programs
- Support the Corporate HR Team, recruiters, and business leaders in analyzing compensation and making recommendations
- Analyze results of exit interviews, recruitment feedback, and employee surveys to identify people issues and trends and participate in their resolution
- Assist in resolving moderately complex employee relations matters
- Take the lead in the deployment of HR projects and new policy deployment
- Provide guidance and support to employees and leaders with various Leaves processes
- Work with the Centers of Excellence (HR Shared Solutions Centre, Total Rewards, Culture & Organizational Effectiveness, Internal Legal Counsel, Learning and Development, Talent Attraction & Sourcing, Diversity and Inclusion) to ensure the completeness and accuracy of employment documentation to support the effective delivery of HR services and to implement on HR strategies, programs, and processes
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and working experience), preferably with a Human Resources focus
- Three to Eight years of HR generalist experience
- Experience working with Corporate functions and leaders at all levels across multiple locations and countries in a matrix structure
- Strong administration, organizational, and time management skills
- Customer focused attitude with demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with client groups
- Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction from multiple senior leaders
- Ability to prioritize often competing demands
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to influence with good verbal and written communication and advisory skills
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions, resolve moderately complex decisions, and exercise good judgment on sensitive and confidential issues
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation would be considered an asset
- SAP experience is an asset
- Success Factors experience is an asset
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range $64,000 to $88,000 USD. This range is estimated for Deerfield, Illinois area. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid vacation, sick days and holidays as well as paid personal and maternity/parental leaves and an Employee and Family Assistance Program. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
