AECOM Water is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our busy Denver, CO office. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have two years of experience in the Structural Engineering field. Technical expertise in structural design codes is also necessary. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting project schedules. Basic knowledge of industry-standard computer software such as CAD, STAAD, RISA, Revit, etc., is expected. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in water industry structural design would be advantageous.

This position includes but is not limited to

Building analytic and design skills.

Conducting engineering design under the supervision of an
experienced engineer.

Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

Collecting and analyzing data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

Using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

Performing work by agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Travel to other States for fieldwork for 1 to 3-day trips, up to 20% of the time.

Technical writing of reports and proposals.



Qualifications:
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS +2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in water industry structural design would be advantageous.
