Job Description

What will you do?

  • Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
  • Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
  • Optimize daily/weekly workload balance/resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities).
  • Adjust MPH (material providing and handling) programs according to customer priorities in the ad-hoc systems, (LDS, DISS, etc.).
  • Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods>stocking>picking> material handling>shipping finished goods and wastes.
  • Synchronize support function on short term actions.
  • Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined.
  • Manage warehouse processes performance and team according to SPS/SIM rules and cycle event of the plant.
  • Deploy & implement SC Planning Central team guidelines for inventory management.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy with permanent alignment between operations & inventory (IT data & physical situation).
  • Manage yearly appraisal of all hourly employees within scope.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics costs.

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Minimum 5 years’ warehouse/logistics management experience in Logistics/Industrial field.
  • SAP proficient
  • Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
  • Understanding of accounting or finance.
  • Must be able to comprehend legal documents.
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world. Flexibility to respond to shifting priorities and ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
