This position is responsible for the coordination of onboarding, and training & development of Distribution Center Team Members. The Training Supervisor will execute Distribution Center training programs, evaluate training initiatives, and maintain training records Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

Perform research and analysis; assist in the design and development of training processes which include safety, quality, cycle time, productivity cost reduction and operations to facilitate continuous process improvement. Participates in root cause analysis to identify problems and recommend changes. Assist in developing training programs to improve operational throughput. Observes Team Members activities and work methods to recommend areas of opportunity. Supports team members through NHO, ramp periods, and leader check-ins. Coach trainers towards meeting goals. Assists in training team members on distribution processes and equipment. Evaluates the performance of trainers and communicates feedback regarding job performance and expectations in a timely manner. Works with HRBP, Production Planner, and Senior Staff on development of hiring plans to meet operational requirements and development of cross training functional areas. Participates on distribution project teams acting as a co-facilitator or facilitator. May act as a project manager on assigned projects. May serve on cross-functional teams including site, regional, and network teams. Support network change initiatives and attends SSC training support meetings. Partners with Training & OD team for updated information. Attends alignment meetings and supports training rollouts. Supports leader development programs such as SIT and Legendary Leadership. Maintains MHE administration, coordination, and compliance for the site. May perform other duties as assigned *
Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a multi-shift distribution center experience including training

Education: Some college is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

Lead, manage, and develop a team of 15 to 60 TSC team members. Ability to lead and develop people utilizing excellent communication skills. Ability to build relationships at various levels and influence decisions. Working knowledge of logistics processes and methods to include flow, cost efficiencies, MHE equipment, safety and quality. Analytical skills to include problem identification and resolution. Working knowledge of a Windows based computer environment with the ability to develop and communicate reporting. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and labor management systems. Flexibility and willingness to change direction and focus as business needs dictate. Ability to work any shift and or department as required. Work additional hours and or days as needed, particularly during high volume periods, to ensure that departmental objectives are accomplished. Working Conditions Duties include frequent alternate standing, walking, bending, stooping, and sitting, throughout the course of the shift Required to work in a physical environment that is subject to temperature extremes, movement of mobile and fixed equipment, possible exposure to hazardous products, dust and other conditions associated with a warehouse operation Physical Requirements This position is non-sedentary. It is essential that you have the physical and mental stamina and ability to move throughout the distribution center and outdoor areas quickly and safely. Team members must have the physical and mental ability to perform all of the following tasks (with or without reasonable accommodation): Ability to move and transfer merchandise, weighing up to 50-75 pounds, throughout the distribution center. Ability to frequently lift or reach merchandise overhead. Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders for up to 12 hours. Ability to move throughout the distribution center for an entire shift. Ability to safely access all areas of the distribution center, including stairs and all levels/floors. Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary (e.g. dolly, hand truck, MHE, battery changer, computer or equivalent, etc.). Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with the assistance of proper MHE (e.g. pallet jack, forklift, etc.) Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation. Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers. Ability to process information / handle merchandise in a safe manner, according to distribution center and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
