    Job Description

    The Superintendent- Real Estate Company with Annual Raises- NoVA will be responsible for:



  • Overseeing Daily Construction Operations: Manage day-to-day site activities for new construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.


  • Leading and Supervising Teams: Directly supervise 3-4 on-site personnel, including Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers, while reporting to the General Superintendent.


  • Managing Large-Scale Projects: Apply extensive experience in managing new construction projects valued at $50 million or more, including office buildings, hotels, mixed-use developments, and multifamily units.


  • Ensuring Compliance and Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance to maintain a safe and efficient construction site.


  • Coordinating with Stakeholders: Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and resolve any on-site issues.


  • Handling Resource Management: Oversee the procurement and allocation of materials, equipment, and manpower, ensuring efficient use and minimizing delays.


  • Quality Control and Reporting: Maintain high standards of workmanship and conduct regular inspections; provide detailed progress reports and updates to senior management.

    The Superintendent- Real Estate Company with Annual Raises- NoVA will have:

  • Successful candidates for this position will have the following qualifications:
High school diploma required; four-year degree from an accredited university with concentration in Building Construction, Engineering or Architecture is preferredThree to five years of experience in the commercial construction field is preferredPossess strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detailAbility to multi-task, handling and prioritizing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environmentCollaborative and flexible personality demonstrating excellent teamwork capabilitiesAbility to prioritize client satisfaction - maintaining existing client relationships as well as developing new client relationshipsExhibit a positive attitude and a passion for our industrySelf-motivated with a desire to continually improve one's knowledge and abilitiesAbility to participate in industry-related social events and culture activities
