The Role
In this role, you will play a crucial role for Moderna to achieve its mission to deliver the greatest possible impact to people through mRNA medicines.

The Franchise Supply & Value Lead (FSVL) is a critical member of the Value Chain Management Team and serves as the Global Supply Chain (GSC) lead for CMC Development Franchises. The FSVL leads an integrated team of planners, launch excellence & life-cycle management, distribution, artwork, commercial SC, operational excellence, and supply chain excellence.

Here's What You'll Do
Drive value-chain management thinking at Moderna through applying continuous learning, operational improvement, plus a deep understanding of the needs of Moderna's customers & patients. Influence franchises to support governance decision-making with rigorous financial planning.

Accountable, together with the CMC Franchise Team, for product supply chain configuration (network footprint), SKU strategy, portfolio of presentations.

Enable cross-functional management to ensure the effective and empowered GSC representation in the franchise.

Represent launches, amendments, tech transfers and related project plans and status reports between GSC and the franchise.

Support the CMC Franchise Lead in the development of CMC program vision & strategy including the definition of phase appropriate program performance targets.

Provide franchise leadership for Moderna's commercialization activities, including robust Supply Chain design, our Commit-to-File & Commit-to-Launch Process, and global launch.

Ensure successful clinical demand management, supply planning, and execution for the franchise.

Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
10+ years of experience working for a commercial-stage pharmaceutical/biotech company in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, CMC Program Management, Value Chain Leadership, or similar.

MS preferred, with an understanding of CMC commercialization and value creation in the biopharmaceutical industry, and commitment to learn about the science behind our platform technology.
