Job Description:

Looking to hire an onsite full time individual with clinical research experience to act as a consultant CRC to support an ongoing Ophthalmology clinical trial. This CRC must be experienced in being able to work independently. You will act as one of the main CRC’s for this study. Please note, as the position and study

progress, additional job duties will likely be added that are not listed in this description. A candidate must help the site and study wherever needed depending on the specific assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient recruitment

  • Chart review of patient medical records

  • Phone screening

  • Informed consent

  • Collection of study data and entering into EDC

  • Resolving queries

  • Medical record retrieval

  • Creating source documents

  • E-diary compliance

  • IRB approval

  • Assist with timely reporting of AEs/SAEs

  • Maintaining study binders

  • Specimen collection and processing

  • Subject follow-up

  • Retention support

  • Scheduling for in-patient visits

  • Scheduling follow up appointments

  • Appointment reminders

  • Any study efforts deemed necessary by the site

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years in a Clinical Research Coordinator role

  • Ophthalmology experience required

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

  • Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems

Additional Details:

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: Contract until December 2024 with possible extension

Schedule: Onsite 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday) - during normal business hours

Hourly pay range: $30-45 per hour

Start Date: ASAP
