As General Manager of the Sebring, FL facility, you will plan, organize and direct manufacturing activities in accordance with all Company philosophies, strategies, goals, objectives, principles and procedures. You will ensure that the facility is in compliance with all regulatory, environmental and safety standards along with being responsible for the creation and adherence to an annual plant operating plan. Along with the management of direct and indirect employees, you will also oversee the facility P&L to ensure profit and loss objectives.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility and any affiliated warehouse.
  • Create annual operating budget for facility and manage to Company operating objectives.
  • Meet or exceed manufacturing Safety, Product Quality, and Reliability performance goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate performance and productivity of facility and employees. Implement changes when necessary.
  • Responsible for oversight of the waste management practices at the facility and compliance with hazardous waste laws. Provide required training as necessary and maintain all documentation.
  • Coach and develop plant leadership team.
  • Provide direct management of key functional managers of the manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with strategic suppliers, Logistics and Operations functions, and Sales Partners.
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual plant expense and performance reporting.
  • Monitors and manages Key Performance indicators and plant performance data.
  • Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business.
  • Ensure all plant operations meet or exceed all applicable regulatory and environmental standards.
  • Oversee key hiring and talent development programs.
  • In coordination the Corporate HR, maintain effective-staffing levels in all plant departments.
  • Responsible for plant expense forecasting and inventory management.
  • Accountable for fiscal and regulatory management of plant operations.
  • Engage in key or targeted customer activities.
  • Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives.
  • Maintain an in-depth and complete knowledge of production technology and industry “best practices”. Analyze competitive products and provide recommendations to neutralize cost or performance advantages.
  • Report key results to senior management.


What’ll You’ll Bring:
  • 7-10 years management experience in a manufacturing environment including fertilizer, chemical, agriculture, construction or food
    • Master in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook
  • Experience drafting and analyzing financial data (including budgets and revenue projections)
  • Strong communication skills, able to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Solid leadership skills
