Description
hands–on new formulation development, lab scale batch process development that is scalable, testing of various raw materials and finished products, conducting initial lab stability of creams, washes, gels, hair color, and hair care Products. Formulate hair color and hair care products in support of business continuity.Evaluate formula/package compatibility and stability of products to choose the best prototype for launch/re–launch.Troubleshoot and solve formulation, stability, performance and process issues that arise during prototype development and scale–up.Understand both U.S. and global regulation requirements working closely with regulatory group to develop and launch OTC drugs and medical devices.Profile
5+ years of formulation experience in skin care, personal care, and hair care.Deep understanding of various category raw materials like surfactants, emulsifiers, polymers and preservatives.Experience in conducting stability studies, product evaluations and understanding processing and scale–up.BS/M.S. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biomedical EngineeringFormulation experience in personal care products and knowledge of functionality and processing of various chemicals.Job Offer
