Daikin Applied is seeking a talented IT Project Manager I. The IT Project Manager I will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers. You must be committed to managing the full project lifecycle and execution in accordance with IT PMO Project Management methodology to keep time, cost and scope aligned. Success is measured by meeting expectations from project stakeholders and getting a declaration of customer satisfaction. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

What you will do:

  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary
  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives
  • Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
  • Prepares project reports for management, sponsors and stakeholders, or others
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion
  • Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff
  • Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer and other key stakeholders
  • Responsible for the successful completion of the project

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
