What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models using a Python stack in batch and streaming context to solve real-world business problems
  • Utilize Azure cloud technologies to streamline the model development, deployment, and operationalization processes
  • Leverage state of the art deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow) for advanced ML modeling
  • Apply best practices and patterns for MLOps to ensure scalability and maintainability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate labeled data using advanced data labeling tools and techniques
  • Optimize model training procedures to ensure efficient and accurate model development through thorough testing, fine-tuning, and validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in UX, software engineering, and business SMEs to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data science and big data technologies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors with degree with 6 years' experience.
  • A proven track record in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets
  • Proficiency in Python for machine learning model development and data analysis
  • Experience and proficiency with Azure ML technologies, MLOps, and ML PaaS environments (AML, Databricks) for effective experimentation, model development and deployment
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and model serialization formats (e.g., ONNX) for creating and training advanced machine learning models
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's with 3 years' experience
    • PhD with 1 years' experience
    • Previous experience with early-stage product development
    • Proven track record of deploying products in dynamic environments
    • Interest in collaborating with partners outside of core team / organization (including SMEs in computer Vision AI)
    • Ability to wear multiple hats and plug into different roles as product develops
    • Desire to be in a fast-moving, agile environment with willingness to adjust quickly
    • Openness to experimental approaches typical of tech start-ups
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
