Data Scientist

At ShiftCode Analytics, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines using Spark and other big data technologies.
- Develop and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Java, Scala, and other programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
- Work with data engineers to design and implement data warehouses and data lakes.
- Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and data science.
- Strong understanding of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with data processing frameworks, such as Apache Beam and Apache Flink.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, and Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS and GCP.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
- Experience with data security and compliance.
