Job Description:

The Pet Owner Experience Product Lead will be accountable for the overall delivery of Pet Owner facing capabilities for Royal Canin North America – including rc.com, euk.com, rc.ca, euk.ca and shop.ca as well as commerce capabilities on rc.com and shop.ca. The role will also be responsible for the Pro Reco portal, as it drives D2C conversion. The Product Lead will work with cross-functional teams and global digital factory to create new features and enhancements to improve the platform. From making a technical strategy to meeting all platform goals, Product Leads play a vital role in every stage of product development.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or Technical field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 Years Experience as Digital/Technical Product Manager
  • Proven experience and ability working in matrix organizations and lead without authority .

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Responsible for overseeing the product success across RCNA, including backlog grooming, sprint Completion and enhancement delivery
  • Responsible for ensuring that Consumer Experience Products (.com and supporting products0 focused on delivering against Business value targets, helping to define and report against KPIs on the product and processes with stakeholders & the Product Owners
  • Responsible for representing North America with global product teams driving consumer experience  and digital marketing capabilities   
  • Engaging with markets & teams applying “design thinking” skills to assess new demand & value opportunities against the product – be able to translate business challenges to product opportunities/features
  • Establish a regular feedback process with the Global Product Teams, Digital stakeholders and business teams to align on priorities and roadmaps.
  • Establish data-driven decision making around value performance vs. priorities
  • Excellent partnership with our platform and services vendors.  “One team” approach.
  • Champion Agile delivery methodology and help build the Agile capability within the organization.
  • Monitor, share and evaluate delivery, and measure progress to ensure value is delivered early and often.
  • Actively participate in the larger Digital community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge, and bringing in best practices.
  • Manage budgets, project managers, and development and vendor resources. Manage BA and QA resources as required
