The selected candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the performance of the designated production units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations for the assigned production area.
  • Enhance throughput, yield, and efficiency through regular analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues and process disruptions, implementing effective solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Support the Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes to maintain safety standards.
  • Monitor and record asset capability (OEE) metrics for production units.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and root cause failure analyses (RCFAs).
  • Develop and execute process and capital improvements to ensure long-term operational success.
  • Conduct end-of-month financial reporting and closing activities for assigned products.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and capital planning processes.
  • Engage in plant safety initiatives, including weekly field safety observations.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s core values.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Assist colleagues in achieving organizational objectives and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety programs as mandated by the organization and complete all required training.

Essential Functions: Regular presence in the workplace is required, with the potential for additional hours as necessary to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in process industries.
  • Preferred experience of 15+ years in a similar capacity within ethylene manufacturing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with process simulation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and complex technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills and a commitment to achieving collective goals.
