• Takes charge of customer purchases, conducts regular cleaning duties, arranges stocks neatly, and presents items in an orderly fashion

• A proactive approach to feedback on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues can address issues before they become major problems. By keeping management informed of these issues, it allows them to take appropriate action and prevent potential negative consequences
• Abide by inventory counting guidelines and oversee stock accuracy
• Adherence to the prescribed cash policies and procedures aids in diminishing the possibility of monetary setbacks
• Abides by the established company policies and procedures, with a specific focus on maintaining the confidentiality and security of all documents and data
• Job duties beyond the initial expectations

Physical Demands of Stock Operations Specialist:
• Competence in transferring stock from the receiving area to shelves; proficiency in arranging products that weigh up to 45 pounds on shelves with varying heights
• The nature of this work demands that one perform regular movements like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking around the store
• Competent in executing responsibilities, with or without reasonable modifications

Qualifications of Stock Operations Specialist:
• You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Ability to safely and properly operate equipment, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience of Stock Operations Specialist:
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
