Serves as the Liaise with the CHIPS R&D and Incentives Offices, NIST Research Security Team, and NIST International Affairs and Academics Office. The individual's work outcomes will influence NIST international plans, strategies, and goals and impact the successful implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct financial analyst and forecasting related to CHIPS Act funding and expenditures
- Develop a financial model to evaluate the economic impact of semiconductor investments
- Evaluate the financial viability of potential partnerships and collaborations in the semiconductor industry
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, federal funding guidelines, and reporting requirements
- Engage with stakeholders including government agencies, industry partners, and research institutions to facilitate financial collaboration and exchange
