POSITION SUMMARY:
- The position facilitates to the flow of organization information as an integral part of the hospital team.
- Answeranddirectincomingfacilitycalls.
- Recordsandroutestelephoneandin-personmessagesaccurately, completely, and promptly.
- Takes a proactive role in resolving any patient/customer servicecomplaints.Independentlyidentifiesconcernsinstressfulsituationstooffer assistance in a calm demeanor.
- Respectsconfidentialityatalltimes;followsHIPAAguidelinesfor disclosing information.
- Maintains an accurate record of patients seen each day, personal belongings dropped off, visitation logs, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:Previous receptionist and customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of healthcare setting. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem solving skills.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
