Job Summary

This is an entry level position that reports to the HR/EHS Manager and is responsible for ensuring that the Magna Employee’s Charter and the Magna Culture are practiced, encouraged, and followed at the Magna Mirrors South Carolina facility. This position is responsible for day to day HR & EHS support duties.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs the following HR activities:
  • Preparation of job postings, maintenance of requisitions, assists with internal and external searches, schedules interviews, may participate in the interview process, preparation of employment offers and related paperwork, and assists with the orientation and on-board processes.
  • Assists with time and attendance administration, payroll corrections, setting up and maintaining employees in the HRIS system.
  • Ensures effective and accurate administration of employee records.
  • Assists with the development and facilitation of HR related training.
  • Assists with performance management activities (i.e. distribution of performance evaluations, tracking completion, etc.).
  • Participates in the development and updating of company policies, procedures and employee handbook.
