You will:
Provide logistical support for the Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO) research vessel fleet operations
Serve as a Contract Officer Representative (COR), leading management of associated contracts and serving as technical liaison between the Contracting Officer (CO) and the contractor.
Serve as liaison with the EPA R5 Mission Support Division’s Health and Safety staff on all matters related to the fleet.
Participates in and lead, as directed, site visits and outreach events involving the GLNPO research vessel fleet and enhances existing partnerships with federal, state, and nongovernment entities.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses. NOTE: Career ladder promotions are not automatic, and all eligibility and qualifications requirements must be met in order to progress to the next grade level.
You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
