Join our Medical Surgical Team at Moab Regional Hospital


You are an essential part of the care team for our in-patients. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, our CNAs provide a variety of care services to patients ranging from newborn to geriatric, with a wide range of acuities and needs. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development for someone looking to expand their skill set 

This is an hourly non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position.

Anticipated schedule: 32-40 hours/week, day and night shifts.

Starting pay range: $20 – 24.80/hour, DOE.


Preferred Experience: 

Current CNA or EMT license in the State of Utah, or prior work experience in similar role in a medical setting.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with clinical and non-clinical individuals.
  • Must be effective both as part of a team and while working independently.
  • Must possess strong critical thinking skills and able to respond quickly when situations change unexpectedly.
  • Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to work in a confidential manner.
  • Reliable and timely with work schedule.
  • Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools, or controls for duration of shift (up to 12 hours at a time).
  • Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the time while on duty.
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 50 lbs. with assistance.
