Job Overview:
As a member of our Medical Surgical team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care across a wide range of patient needs and conditions from medical and surgical to high acuity, rehabilitative, skilled, pediatric, and potentially post-partum care. This role is perfect for nurses looking to broaden their skill set in a rural setting with a variety of patient care scenarios.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from post-partum neonates to geriatrics.
- Manage medical records and document patient care services.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Engage in continuous education and training to maintain and advance skills.
- Participate in the development of new policies and procedures as needed.
Salary and Benefits:
- Starting pay range: $31 $39.68 per hour, depending on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Utah or compact state RN license.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 1-2 years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications desired within one year of hire.
- Ability to obtain NRP certification and provide patient care relevant to certification within one year of hire.
