Job Description

The Role

Our Retirement team supports global organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering and communicating all types of retirement plans. Whether a client has a defined benefit pension or a defined contribution plan, we work with them to determine the right approach to design, funding, investing, governing and employee engagement that fits their specific goals.

In this exciting role as a Retirement Director, you will have the opportunity to support diverse projects related to mergers & acquisitions, asset liability studies, forecasting, early retirement windows, financial resilience and other special projects as needed. You will also:
  • Provide value-added consulting expertise on retirement plan valuation, management and design, financial risk management and funding projects, and special projects involving global consulting, strategic workforce planning and total rewards strategies
  • Lead large complex client engagements, ensuring projects are appropriately planned, budgeted and monitored, manage the client financials and ensuring work is properly delegated
  • Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client's broader business issues
  • Ensure clients are regularly informed about the implications and opportunities that changing laws and regulations have related to their retirement plans
  • Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships
  • Develop junior colleagues and create an inclusive team environment


Qualifications

The Requirements
  • Experience and expertise delivering retirement consulting services to Fortune 1,000 or organizations of similar size
  • An undergraduate degree is required; actuarial credentials are a plus
  • Demonstrated success or strong evidence to support the ability to contribute to new business generation
  • Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
  • Enjoys training/mentoring junior staff
  • Intellectual curiosity and the desire to expand one's business acumen in the retirement and human capital consulting field
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
