Mission: Stabbert Maritime is engaged in further establishing services for offshore vessel operations in and around the Western Pacific Region. This position supports local vessel operations and customer relations throughout the fleet.

Scope of Work: Support all local vessel operations, including vessel needs, client interface, and port calls, and ensure the vessel is operating safely and fulfilling client and charter contract requirements. Occasional travel to the vessels while in port and offshore for vessel inspections or to assist in project management as required.

Essential functions:

Manage risks and issues while advising and taking corrective measurements. Maximize the output of projects to meet expectations while reducing margin erodes. Manage stakeholders' communication and prepare regular communications and updates for management. Stay actively informed concerning technical, business, and vessel developments affecting present and potential projects and communicate this information promptly to the appropriate senior-level managers. In-country representative of the Company - establish good working relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and technical service providers in the region. Subject matter expert for local operations in the region, advising Vessel Operations Manager and Management on best operating practices for the area. Advise management on local operating issues and concerns. Anticipate and respond to vessel daily needs under the direction of the assigned Vessel Operations Manager. Coordinate daily issues with clients as directed by the Vessel Operations Manager. Support with Vessel Operations Coordinator vessel logistics, including port calls, pilots, parts through customs, agent coordination, notice of arrivals and departures, etc. Communicate with Vessel Operations Manager daily to assist with vessel needs during local time working hours and provide end-of-day updates to the Vessel Operations Manager, ensuring seamless communication and passing of information between time zones. Interface with Captain/Senior Officers regularly, building a strong working relationship. Liaison between ships, internal company departments, and occasionally vendors and clients. Ensure vessels adhere to all SMS and HSE requirements. Maintain contact with local vendors and port agents regularly. Find local vendors and quote all local purchasing, ensuring we get the best market prices. On-site management of all vessel mobilizations, demobilizations, and off-charter port visits. Represent the company at pre-job meetings. Participates in developing standard practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand the organization's capabilities. Coordinate daily issues with vendors, project staff, and management, ensuring a maximum level of service is offered and maintained. Occasionally conduct internal audits on the company's behalf. Assist with accident investigations as needed. Provide COO and leadership team monthly conditions reports on assigned vessels. Assist in developing daily operating costs for the vessels as needed. Performs other responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Operations and leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a US passport. Travel expectancy 50% Extensive experience with vessel operations Ability to connect and communicate with all levels. License Requirements - USCG Masters Endorsement preferred. Results-oriented, self-starter with a high level of initiative Strong ability to organize and communicate with others. Strong work ethics, values, and principles with safety as the first priority The ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex and unique project-related problems. Ability to learn and enforce the Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.
