Your mission

As a Sales Application Engineer at BigRep, you will have a specialization in 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies and will be a key contributor to our sales team, leveraging your technical expertise to drive the adoption of our innovative 3D printing solutions. You will directly report to the Director of Business Development Americas.

This position is a key resource in the sales team, playing a crucial role in understanding customer needs, providing technical guidance, and delivering tailored solutions to meet the unique challenges of the additive manufacturing industry.

Your profile

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, providing in-depth technical guidance on 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions.
Develop customized 3D printing solutions based on customer specifications, ensuring optimal performance and integration with existing large format 3d-printers.
Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our 3D printing technologies.
Conduct post sales product and workflow trainings.
Build and nurture strong relationships with customers through effective communication and technical support throughout the sales process. Increase application functions by incorporating client feedback and complaints and relaying it to the CS and R&D teams.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of 3D printing materials, processes, and applications. Advise customers on material selection based on their specific needs.
Collaborate with customers on prototyping projects, providing expertise in design for additive manufacturing and conducting test runs to validate solutions.
Collaborate with CS and Marketing teams on customer successes

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
English speaking, Spanish is a plus
Proficient in 3D printing technologies such as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), etc. Experience with HT FFF printing, CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCad, Catia) and 3d specific slicing SW like Cura, Prusa, Simplify3D is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or application engineering roles within the 3D printing or additive manufacturing industry
Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate technical solutions into compelling value propositions. Previous experience in technical sales is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and provide effective solutions
