Delivery Lead - Software Engineering

Essential Job Functions:

• Support a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring the successful delivery of software projects.

• Assist in the professional growth and mentorship of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and career development planning.

• Contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy, participating in strategic discussions and technology assessments.

• Manage project tasks and assignments, helping to prioritize and plan work to meet project goals.

• Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure efficient project execution.

• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, working to resolve issues as they arise.

• Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Required Experience:

Strong 8+ years of experience on resolving production issues for Life COMM and related interface system
Experience on Assembler, COBOL, CICS, Life/70, MVS /JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, DB2, TSO/ISPF
Must have expertise in life Insurance/ Annuity domain.
Experienced in end to end development & testing model
Functional gap analysis, impact analysis on the Lifecomm application & map gaps against user requirement.
Prepare of Estimation and timeline for various activities
Create technical Specification document & Conduct technical walkthrough with various stakeholders and obtain required sign offs
Functional support during development of applications
Coordinate with Interface teams on Lifecomm integration touch points
Peer review.
Unit test plan, planning and execution
Support for Program management activities including regular status reporting and escalation of challenges/ risks on timely basis
Must have excellent Communication Skills
