The role:

Business Manager LATAM

To provide regional support to the global commercial teams in a consistent and efficient manner. To define and lead commercial initiatives within the region, seeking opportunities to grow revenue.  Ensure the successful implementation of commercial change projects within the region. Provide a clear view of commercial performance to key stakeholders and drive conformance across commercial processes.

What you'll do:

  • Produce effective professional presentations to present key trends and findings for a range of audiences Delivery of business plan QNNR targets to contribute to IAGC financial plan targets (approx. €58mil per annum)
  • Project management and support of commercial change projects across the region, namely Supplier tenders. Responsible for the full E2E process from tender to implementation of the new supplier.
  • Ability to create and articulate business cases to obtain successful endorsement of senior management including calculation of costs / benefits obtaining approval form finance.
  • Responsible for the management of suppliers (i.e., GSAs) across the region including performance reviews, compliance, management of action logs and commission payment calculations / processing.
  • Administer Sales Incentive across the region responsible for target setting, tracking of performance vs target, calculation, and presentation of exceptions.
  • Lead Monthly Business Reviews alongside Regional Commercial Manager, presenting monthly financial reporting and any key causals to Business Change Manager.
  • Commercial lead for key working groups and projects relating to other parts of the business
  • Design and deliver management information / business intelligence that enables a quick and thorough insight into the state of the business, drives commercial decision-making and allows teams to self-serve as far as possible
  • Support the Business Change Manager in the production of market and competitor intelligence to inform the sales team, understand the commercial environment and develop robust actionable regional commercial plans.
  • Lead financial planning and re-forecasting activity for the regional teams, including identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Work with the regional sales teams and Business Change Manager to drive commercial compliance in all areas and promote best practice and processes
  • Works closely with the wider business management team to support and deliver the commercial transformations strategy and champion this across the region.
  • Work closely across the Business Management team to ensure consistency and accuracy and drive best practice and learning
  • Drive changes and compliance in distribution methods within the regions to increase revenue and cost reduction
  • Produce effective professional presentations to present key trends and findings for a range of audiences

Skills

  • Spanish language skills required
  • Very strong influencing and networking skills with key stakeholders driving difficult decisions and managing complex relationships
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to deliver difficult messages
  • Able to lead and deliver change
  • Excellent communicator -both verbal and written
  • Sound analytical skills including planning and budgeting
  • Proven experience in matrix management and the ability to form meaningful cross-functional relationships
  • Action orientated, drives pace, challenges appropriately to maintain momentum within tight timescales
  • Ability to design and implement strategy to articulate priorities, direction and focus
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage complex and often unique issues creating relevant clarity in areas of ambiguity
  • Customer focus - understands how to identify customer needs and how to address them

Qualifications

  •  Degree level qualification or relevant experience
  • Spanish Speaker

  • Previous experience in a commercial / financial role
  • Evidence of identification of areas of improvement and provision of creative solutions to benefit the customer
  • Track record of delivering sustainable and significant change and reducing complexity
  • Proven ability to deliver objectives on time and to budget through the use of planning tools
  • Evidence of use of data to drive commercial decision-making
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively across functions, cultures and hierarchies
  • Commercial and competitive awareness
  • Experience of working with third-party suppliers
